Rules and Alerts = Works better then OOF "Rules" - Why??!
Example: Exchange 2007 SP1, Outlook 2007 SP1Test 1:Distribution Group exists on server called "Testdg@domain.com"Rule created using Outlook 2007 to "Forward mail sent to: Testdg@domain.com" -> "TO: user@domain.com".. this works as expected.--------------------------------------------------------Test2:Out of Office Assistant using Outlook 2007:Rule created using template in Out of Office Assistant: "Sent To" button = "Testdg@domain.com", "Forward" radio button checked and "user@domain.com" selected... turned on, this does not process for these messages.-----------------------------------------------------------Am I missing something?? I selected the DG through our GAL, there is nothing out of the ordinary for this specific DG (just a test one I created for this reason). It almost seems like a bug of some sort. It would be nice if this rule would apply when OOF is being used, granted it works the other way, but it seems by design this should have been feasible? Thanks for looking!!

Clarify: Forward function dont work on out of office rule You must enable "Send out of office messages to originator" option on testdg@domain.com a. EMC->Recipient Configuration->Distribution Group->right-click testdg->Properties b. Advanced tab->check "Send out of office messages to originator" c. OK
